Free Hold Steady show in Boston tomorrow

While we wait for Stay Positive to fully unleash upon the masses, Miller Lite and Going.com are bringing Bostonians a free show with The Hold Steady tomorrow (Thursday) at The Paradise.

You gotta dance with who you came to dance with, and also you gotta RSVP here: going.com/theholdsteady

Opening act is Boston’s own Aberdeen City. Show at 8pm, 21+. If past performance is any indication of future results, it just might be a massive night.

Massive Nights – The Hold Steady

(man I love that song).

  • hey Heather, this is not concerning this particular post but basically you’ve been introducing me to so many amazing bands for 2 years now and I just found out about Diane Cluck and thought you’d might like to check her out if you don’t know about her already and if you do maybe you have something by her :P
it’s kinda hard to find anything at all by her since she is rather reluctant to sing any deal with any label.

  • Heather- Speaking of Boston, you might want to check out Madi Diaz and The Everyday Visuals, both of whom are somewhat native to the Beantown scene. I have a feeling you would enjoy both. Keep up the good work!

  • It was incredible. The new material is great live, and the crowd and the band was on fire.
So glad I made it in.

"I love the relationship that anyone has with music: because there's something in us that is beyond the reach of words, something that eludes and defies our best attempts to spit it out. It's the best part of us, probably, the richest and strangest part..."
—Nick Hornby, Songbook
"Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel."
—Hunter S. Thompson

Mp3s are for sampling purposes, kinda like when they give you the cheese cube at Costco, knowing that you'll often go home with having bought the whole 7 lb. spiced Brie log. They are left up for a limited time. If you LIKE the music, go and support these artists, buy their schwag, go to their concerts, purchase their CDs/records and tell all your friends. Rock on.
