Wilco plays someone else’s songs
Hey do you like Wilco? Of course you do. And most everyone likes covers (especially me). This is a jawdropping treasure trove of lovingly-assembled covers that Wilco has performed in concert over the years.
In this batch, you get covers of everyone from Bob Dylan to the Replacements to The Stooges. Oh, and a sweet hip-hop version of She’s A Jar, bitch.

Wilco is, for my dollars, the best band playing rock music today. However, I just can’t listen to a cover of Thirteen that wasn’t done by Elliott.

wow, wow, let me say it one more time, wow! i went to univ of missouri from 88-92 (and worked at the blue note) and saw UT many times. since then, UT/Wilco have been one of my fav bands. pulling these together brings back many fond memories! saw Wilco’s first three shows ever at Lounge Ax (RIP) and 100s of times since, and always loved their covers. good stuff!
