So who’s coming to Colorado to Monolith festivate with me?
The lineup announcements started yesterday for the 3rd annual Monolith Festival, coming to Red Rocks September 12th and 13th. This year, the acts are being released incrementally through Facebook updates and Tweets (we are SO hip to the jive here in the Colorado) — whetting our appetites a little at a time, rather than unleashing all the artists on the world at once.
Since yesterday morning, they have announced Starfucker (such a fun show at SXSW), Girl Talk, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Denver’s Speakeasy Tiger, Method Man & Redman, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, and Health. More announcements will follow in the days to come, and by mid-June we’ll know exactly what choices we will have come September.
